Stowe Vermont Ice Fishing Adventures
Why not spend a day of winter fun
ice fishing on some of Vermont's most scenic bodies of water in pursuit
of various game fish and pan fish. Skiing is not the only winter activity
in Stowe, Vermont. There are numerous frozen lakes and ponds to ice
fish for winter vacationers. Enjoy the thrill of attempting to land
a large toothy northern pike through an 8" hole in the ice or
sitting on top of feeding school of slab yellow perch.
Instruction will be provided in tip-up placement
and various jigging techniques for both warm and cold-water species
of fish. Gather a working knowledge of ice safety and how to protect
yourself against the winter elements.
All fishing equipment, snowshoes, and a heated
portable shanty will be provided on all excursions. It is high time
that you come and enjoy the ultimate Stowe, Vermont winter experience.
