Hi Folks, I wrapped up ice fishing over this past weekend. Conditions had become too precarious on the hard water. A short ice fishing season as we experienced a pretty mild winter. I love late season ice fishing for big pike. Not much of a window to try to catch a big spawning hen under the ice this year. Oh well, open water fishing is not that far away. We did manage to catch a few fish over the last couple of months. I would like to thank everyone who hired me this winter. More future winter adventures to come. I will begin my open water guiding season on the second Saturday in April when the state wide trout season begins. Remember to clean your gear and keep the non-native species at home.
